  Well, I'm back on Xanga again. It's been a while. I remember when I was like 14 when I first used Xanga. I had fun talking to other people online and it was a great way to stay in touch. I mean Facebook is great, but xanga is better in a way of being a journal of my most private, personal, or other thoughts to fool around.

  Anyways, my first semester at Penn State was amazing! I went to most of the football games and cheering our Big Ten Champions and going to the Rose Bowl game even though we lost :(. But, I met a lot of people and established some great friendships. I love my dorm mates and how we know each other and are sometimes close. I love the fact that many of us have the same major, meteorology. Meteorology is interesting, but I will find out about it when I take Physics and the harder math classes and Meteo 300 and 431 or so. But, hopefully i will be a meteorologist someday :). Then comes AACF. Wow great memories and I have made soooo many good friends in Christ. But, my academics were not what I expected (2.83), but I will hope to bounce back and bring that GPA up.

  If you're reading this you're wondering why my name is BalDenMiaWsh. I am a sports fan of many kinds. But mainly baseball, basketball, football, and hockey. I like other sports sometimes like soccer with the World Cup and the Olympics or like tennis with the Wimbledon, Australian open, us open, and the french open. Golf with the Masters, and some other tournaments that i do not know the names of. Then there comes racing which i don't really enjoy watching. so some of you are like what are your favorite teams? well some of you will think my choice of teams are bad, but my history with them will follow:

  Baltimore Orioles

  

  This was a no brainer. I live in Centreville, Virginia. About 45 minutes away from Washington, D.C. and about an hour and a half to Baltimore. Some of you may say why Baltimore when I can root for the Washington Nationals. Well first off, they are a very bad team. Second, I rooted for the Orioles even the Nationals even came into existence. I hate the Nationals with a passion because they stole some of the Orioles fan base. The Baltimore Orioles has a great baseball tradition with an amazing mascot called The Bird and a beautiful baseball field called Oriole Park at Camden Yards. We got hall of famers Brooks Robinson, Frank Robinson, Jim Palmer, Earl Weaver, Eddie Murray, and of course my favorite Hall of famer from the Orioles, the Cal "Ironman" Ripken, Jr. for his 2,162 straight games that surpassed Lou Gehrig, the Iron Horse. The current Orioles such as Nick Markakis, Adam Jones, Jeremy Guthrie, George Sherill, Brian Roberts, Aubrey Huff, Luke Scott, Chris Ray, and much more! And our amazing manager, Dave Trembley. But, I absolutely hate our owner, Peter Angelos, who needs to get out and we need to get a new owner who will turn this ballclub around. Hopefully 2009 will be a promising season like i say every baseball season. Yes I know that we have 11 straight losing seasons. The Orioles used to be a good and role modelish ball club, but despite our downfall, we will get back up and bring a World Series title back to Baltimore!

  Denver Broncos

  

  Okay this is a little tough to explain why I root for the Denver Broncos. I used to root for the Washington Redskins back when I was young, but I soon realized how bad of a team they were (except their good ol' days). But, then I looked at the Denver Broncos watching John Elway lead the team to two straight Super Bowl titles. I was like wow this is a really great team, maybe I should root for them! Then I go gradually becoming a bigger Broncos fan. Also I have some friends back home who are Broncos fans also. Although I may not be able to watch the games on tv, I am still a great and loyal fan! We got a promising future, if it its without our dearly beloved head coach Mike Shanahan who was fired after our collapse and missing the playoffs for the 3RD STRAIGHT SEASON finishing 8-8. Stupid San Diego Chargers! Anyways, we're starting fresh with a great football mind, Josh McDaniels from the Patriots as our new head coach. Our owner Pat Bowlen is still a great owner unliked Peter Angelos. We also have a promising quarterback Jay Cutler who may be the next "John Elway". Anyways, GO BRONCOS!

  Division Members: San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders

  Miami Heat

  

  Okay I actually have a relation to this. I have some relatives down in Florida, so I started to enjoy basketball and started to root for this team. I rooted for this team before they won the NBA title back in 2006. Not really much to write about them since I only recently started to root for them. All I know that Dwayne Wade is a superstar of the team and will lead us to another NBA title sometime soon, maybe this season? No?

  Conference: Southeast Division, Eastern Conference

  Division Members: Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Bobcats, Washington Wizards

  Washington Capitals

  

  I only started rooting for this team only very recently like last year. So I don't really know much about this team. But, we are 30-15-3 and currently the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference in the NHL. So we have a chance at the Stanley Cup this season! C-A-P-S CAPS CAPS CAPS!
